The Chinese will eat anything. There is something about the more exotic something is the more desired.

A restaurant in Shanghai is serving a critically endangerd species of alligator – head, tail, innards….

"'Yes, we do serve alligator here, but the amount is limited every day so you'd better book it at least two or three days ahead,' said a staffer at the restaurant, who like many media-shy Chinese refused to give his name."alligator.jpg

Alligator steak and soup are said to keep the 'natural test of the alligator meat.

The restaurant is able to serve the dish because it received a special license from the Forest Ministry to serve reptiles raised in a breeding center.

Anybody hungry?
