A Graveyard Full of Dead Celebrities – New Tourist Attraction

Submitted by Bill Belew on Saturday, 17 March 2007No Comment

A graveyard in the Qingpu district is pitching the fact that more than 30 Chinese celebrities are buried in the cemetery.

There is charm in the landscape among which a leisurely stroll can help the over-stressed find a place to rest…one way or the other.

One dude is quoted as saying…"Every time I go to a graveyard, I find a person's life is just chicken poop. When I am there I realize the things I care a great deal about in daily life seem no longer to be that significant to me."

Well…when he puts it that way….

Q: So, why do graveyards always have fences around them?

A: Because people are dying to get into them.

Q: Why do people want to be buried on tops of hills?

A: It's about as close as most of them will ever get to heaven.

Q: How many people are usually dead in a cemetery?

A: All of them.
