650 sets of twins, triplets…gather in Beijing
More than 650 sets of twins, triplets and kids with multiple siblings born at the same time gathered in Beijing for the 4th annual Beijing Twins Culture Festival.
Every set of kids were given the chance to feel like a star.
Some sets of kids used the opportunity to get 'discovered.'
"Someone may be scouting for talented people just like us, and we hope we can arouse their attention through our performance on the stage."
Chinese look at twins and multiple births as a sign of good luck. A boy and girl pair is called a 'dragon and phoenix' pair.
Two makes for double happiness…kind of like when they get married. Chinese wish a double happiness.
However, when a couple of kids decide to get married on the same day…what happiness would that be for the dad who has to foot the bill?
