Chinese Estates real estate magnate, J. Lau, has ordered a Boeing 787 'Dreamliner' for his private VIP use. The cost – $153 million (HK$1.19 Billion).

So, why would a guy need to have his own private Boeing 787?

1. He might want to be the first to get such a new toy…due out next year…seven have been ordered for private use.

2. He might want to take 250-300 guests for a ride.

3. He might need it to conduct business over long distances.

4. He might need the 2,404 square feet of cabin space to camp out in when his wife puts him in the dog house.

5. He might want to become the president of a country somewhere.

Why would you want to pay $153 million for a private jet?
