August 1st is Army Day in China.

As a present to the military a survey was taken by the China Youth Daily asking 1,500 women who they would like to marry.

Nearly two-thirds of them say they want an Army man for a husband. 

5 Reasons -

1. Personal integrity

2. marital fidelity

3. stable jobs

4. increasing salaries

5. I love a man in a uniform

For some, and in the case of this survey, many, women do

NOT seem to be so calculating and materialistic when choosing a hubby. And despite needing to take care of domestic affairs alone, the wives can be free of anxiety when marrying an army man.

But, what about when he is out in the field or stationed away for a long time?

My experience from when I was in the military is that the faithful military husband is a myth…or was it just the Navy gobs?
