43 Million Bibles Published in China
A member of China’s top advisory body says that its a reflection the country's freedom of religious belief that 43 million Bible have printed in the country.
Yeah…that's about one Bible for every 30 people in China. Oh, boy!
The Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference boasts that China also has hosted several exhibitions of different versions of the Holy Bible and other related readings in Hong Kong, the US and Germany.
Additionally, Chinese paintings themed on the stories from the Bible, Chinese-style music inspired by the teaching of Christianity and photos of the
development of Christianity in China were included, too.
Gosh…and suddenly China is a country with freedom to worship, to gather, to teach, to evangelize?
Uh…I don't think so.
In Bible circles, it is said that for the average Chinese to know God is what the communist leaders in the country fear the most.
What do you think?
The leaders definitely fear the average Chinese will taste some sort of freedom. No?
