More signs of the times…some Chinese, make that some people just have too much money.
A pair of shoes by an Italian designer were created at the invitation of the World Gold Council and put on display in Wuhu, Anhui Province on June 9th.
The pair weighed 680 grams.
With gold going at about $21.01/gram = $14,286,80.
Still it's not as expensive as The Most Expensive Toy in Japan - $41,468.
I hope nobody tells my shoe-loving wife.
I wonder how much they would cost in a size 12 mens…hmmm.
