100 Japanese Lawmakers Say ‘Nanjing Massacre’ is a Fabrication

I can't imagine the Chinese being very happy to hear that 100 or so Japanese lawmakers, all members of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's Liberal Democratic Party saying the Nanjing Massacre is a fabrication.

Japanese soldiers did NOT kill hundreds of thousands of people after seizing the Chinese city in 1937.

The 100 lawmakers are accusing Beijing of using the alleged incident as a "political advertisement."

A Japanese researcher says ONLY 20,000 people were killed, less than one tenth the more commonly cited figure of 150,000-200,000….the Japanese figures were based on Japanese government archives.

Historians side with the Chinese on this saying the Japanese slaughtered 150,000 civilians and raped 10's of thousands of women.

Furthermore…the group heading the investigation for the Japanese is saying thererape.of%2Cnanjing.law.jpg was no violation of international law AND that photographs portraying the Japanese military in a negative light

be removed from Chinese war memorials.

Additionally…"We are absolutely positive that there was no massacre in Nanking."

Uh…and we thought the Japanese and Chinese were going to start getting along.

Not with clowns like this representing Japan.
