Why I am Afraid of Dihydrogen Monoxide

I am afraid of dihydrogen monoxide (dhmo).

Why shouldn’t I be?

DHMO is colorless.

DHMO is odorless.

I really don’t know what DHMO is in its natural form and I should be afraid of everything I don’t know, right?

I can take in DHMO without realizing it.

Sometimes DHMO falls from the sky.

If you fall into large amounts of DHMO and you can’t wade through it, it can kill that wait, too.

DHMO is everywhere.

DHMO is essential to life but can also kill. What’s a person to do?

Some countries don’t have enough DHMO and they die for it.

DHMO can be found worldwide – including Asia.

So, why am I afraid of DHMO?

I’m not. It’s my favorite drink…also known as H2O = water.
