fn 5.7 Millimeter Pistol, Gun Used in Fort Hood Shooting Purchased Legally
The fn 57 pistol is a semi automatic gun in 5.7×28mm manufactured by FN Herstal company. The weapon’s name refers to its 5.7 mm bullet diameter.
The American Law enforcement officials have said that the 5.7 mm pistol used in the Fort Hood shooting rampage was purchased legally at a Texas gun store.
The officials reportedly spoke on condition of anonymity as they are not supposed or authorized to discuss the case.
Records show that Hasan bought the FN 5.7 from “Guns Galore” store in Killeen, Texas, well before the attack that killed 13 people.
Gun control advocates call the pistol as a “cop killer” weapon because the gun can pierce bulletproof jackets.

It’s not about being a muslim or not, but a psychopat-murder who got his mind all screwed emanating fear all of his life then baam, today – we saw a gruesome reality of what he really is capable of.. The only question remains, Now that he is alive? Shall we expect the unexpected? I wouldn’t be surprise if a week from now a tabloid will report “Ford shooter bites the dust”

The gun can no more pierce bullet”proof” jackets than I can fly like Superman…
Another piece of dishonest, or stupidly uninformed reporting of the news. The firearm fires many different types of cartridges, the only ones LEGALLY available for purchase to citizens being type SS197SR which is a regular, non armor-piercing cartridge like any other. If the muslim terrorist stole armor-piercing rounds from the bases armory, that has nothing to do with the firearm itself.
Furthermore, guns do not magically fire on their own. Guns do not shoot things of their own accord. Guns do not kill people. All blame rests solely with the terrorist hasan who could also have killed those people with any number of other ways & means. Just because a firearm was involved, and it’s black and “looks scary”, then all sorts of idiotic comments start appearing. To paraphrase a saying we should all have learned as children:
“If you have nothing accurate or informed to write about, don’t write anything at all”.
