Bake Me a Wish – Not Made in China

Submitted by Bill Belew on Tuesday, 11 November 2008No Comment

What a great name – Bake Me aWish.

Not made in China or Made in Japan, either for that matter.bakemeawish.jpg

My in-laws (Chinese) have been in my home for 11 months 360 days (they leave this Saturday when their visa expires).

For the past couple of weeks they have been on a desperate search to buy souvenirs to take back to their friends in China. The one criteria – to find something that is NOT made in China.

Hah! Good luck with that.

They eventually went on a cruise to Mexico and found some things there to take back.

We also have a $1.50 Japanese shop nearby that they found some stuff.

But, made in America? No change.

Perhaps they can find something at Bake Me a Wish. I wonder, however, what’ll taste like by the time they get back to China.

I remember now, they like stale, dried up food. Maybe, just maybe…
