Anun CHINBAT – Representing Mongolia at Miss World 2008

Anun CHINBAT will represent the Mongolia at the Miss World 2008 pageant at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday 13th December 2008.

Anun grew up in the capital, Ulaanbaatar city.

Her country is famous as the home of the great Genghis Khan.

Anun successfully learned Japanese in two years.

She is currently pursuing a degree in Tourism Management at the Rikkyo University in Tokyo, Japan.

Anun chose this major because she believes the tourism industry has great potential to contribute to the economic development of Mongolia.

She was also chosen as the Goodwill Ambassador in the 800th anniversary of the Mongolian Empire.

Her interests are: Travel; playing pool, tennis, golf, horse riding; walking; swimming; reading; modern and national dance; piano, painting, craft; and listening to pop music.

She likes her mother’s cooking best.

Her personal motto: “Once you choose hope, everything is possible”.
