Beer Bottles and Solar Water Heating
A farmer in China’s Shaanxi province used beer bottles to make a solar water-heating device. He wanted his 73-year-old mother to be able to take a warm bath everyday.
The 42-year old farmer apparently couldn’t afford the price for the hi-tech solar water heaters and his mom was beginning to smell, so he took matters into his own hands…no doubt after downing a few.
The end result, mom can take a bath every day now and some 20 other local farmers have recruited Ma to help them build their own water heater…of course, after they finish emptying the bottles.
