China's mobile phone users sent 5,546 text messages every second for the first three months of this year.
That number is up 28.8% over the same quarter last year.
What I want to know is, what are they texting about?
And, why don't they push the buttons and call?
And, is it really cheaper to send a text message than to call, considering how much time it takes to text the thing?
And, can Jason Bourne really create a text message without looking and the cell phone in his pocket?
Can you do that? I can't even do it while looking.
With the number of new mobile phone users growing by one per second, the number of text messages can't help but grow.

That's nothing. My 17 year old daughter and around ten of her friends can top that.
