Two teenagers in China were held hostage by a beauty salon until they could come up with Y12,000 total to pay for their haircuts. They scraped it up by asking their classmates to pitch in.

The haircuts listed for Y38. The salon charged them, without asking, Y6,000 each.

"That's just the price of a bottle of foreign wine," said the salon to the two girls who are not old enough to drink - 17- and 19- years old.

In the end, the salon was given the maximum fine of Y500,000 ($71,272) and forced to shut down.

But, get this, the girls didn't get their money back. 

Instead, they have to walk around with wine bottles on their head.
