China’s 3 Largest Trading Partners in 2007

China's three largest trading partners.

The amount of China's imports and exports grew steadily last year.

China's foreign trade has reached $2173.8bn, 23.5 percent higher than the year 2006.

Foreign exchange reserves in China increased to $1528.249bn in 2007.

1. The European Union is the largest trade partner. The amount, sort and scale between the two countries increased greatly. It jumped to $356.15bn, 27 percent up, over the last year.

2. The USA is the second largest bilateral trade country. The annual amount reached $302.08bn, 15 percent higher than 2006.

3. Japan is the third largest bilateral trade partner and the first import trade partner. The amount of bilateral trade increased to $202.55bn with growth rate of 13.9 percent.

China is the world's third largest trading power and importer, next to the US and Germany.

Experts forecast that the speed of increase in the economy will get slower in the year 2008.
