拔 ba 苗 miao 助 zhu 长 zhang
is a Chinese idiom that means that if you pull up on a shoot it will help it grow.
I used to do this with my kids. My wife would hold on to their hands while I tugged on their feet. It must have worked because I look up to both of them.
But, it doesn't work with garden plants. If one is too impatient to wait for growth and tries to force it to happen, the opposite will be the result.
New companies, the Chinese economy cannot be forced to grow too quickly either.
If it is pulled on too hard, it will most likely end up dead or popped as in what happens to most bubble economies.
