Olympic Stars - Los Angeles 1932 - Bob Van Osdel
Bob Van Osdel was a star in the 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Two friends, Osdel of the United States and McNaughton of Canada faced off for the high jump final.
Osdel offered some technical advice to his friend as both faced the bar at 1.97m.
"Get your kick working and you will be over."
McNaughton won and the sportsman, Osdel, took the silver.
