Housing Prices Still Climbing

Despite the best efforts to curb prices, dissuade speculation, housing prices continue to soar in China's major cities.
The 4Q price increase in 70 of China's largest cities averaged 10.2%.
This figure is 2% higher than 3Q.
New apartments were up 11.4%, 2.4% higher than 3Q.
Second-hand units were up 9.8%, 2.2% higher than 3Q.

A Stock Express: Where is the Bottom Line?
China stocks moved down this week.
Shanghai Composite Index fell 354 points, 7.15 percent, from Monday. Shanghai-Shenzhen 300 Index fell 418 points, 8.29 percent.
147 stocks rose and 508 were down. 31 stocks lost 10 percent.
