
Japan's Hotel Okura Co. will put a branch Macau, China.
The luxury hotel will begin operating on behalf of a Hong Kong entertainment firm starting September 2009.
It's a first for Hotel Okura in Macau.
The new hotel will offer 400 guest rooms, a Japanese restaurant and a bar.
Its operation will be outsourced by Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd.
Galaxy Entertainment will invest about Y140 billion in Macau by 2008 to build
casinos and hotels. On the same plot of land for Hotel Okura's new hotelThe new location will be Hotel Okura's 10th overseas site.
Japanese visitors heading to Macau are growing at an annual rate of 30%.
Hmm...wonder where the Japanese tourists will be staying.
