Felix Baumgartner Parachutes from the World’s Tallest Building - Taipei 101 Tower

by admin on December 14th, 2007

An Austrian base jumper successfully parachuted from the world's tallest skyscraper - the Taipei 101 Tower in Taiwan.

The leap, unapproved, was made from the sightseeing platform of the 508 meter high building.

The jumper, Felix Baumgartner, is 38-years old.

The parachute was smuggled in the day before and hidden in the roof of a washroom.

Hmm…if they can smuggle a parachute in, then can they smuggle a ….nevermind.

Felix hit the ground running, caught a flight and left Taiwan immediately.

However, since his parachute had the logo of a beverage maker, Taipei 101 is considering a lawsuit for violation of its trademark.

Gosh, somebody owns everything, don't they?
