China has an Olympic education program called the mini-olympics.
The Beijing Olympic education program is aiming to promote the Olympic Movement among China's 400 million young Chinese in its 400,000 schools.
BOCOG has 556 "Olympic Education Model Schools" nationwide.
200 of them are in Beijing.
Schools hold speech, writing and painting contests. They also hold Olympic
knowledge contests.BOCOG has also offered more than 1.1 million Olympic-themed textbooks at all levels.
Come 8-8-8, China will know more about the Olympics they are hosting than all the rest of us.
When I was in Japan...nothing like this happened.
In the United States? Not that I know of.
Kudos to China for getting into the Olympic spirit, and making a bundle doing it.
Do you think China is overkilling the Olympics?

The Olympics is a one shot deal. I hope they have a good one.
