Britain has come out against Taiwan's referendum to "gain membership of the United Nations" scoring huge points with Beijing.
Britain's policy is One-China.
Britain's Foreign Secretary met with his Chinese counterpart to reiterate his desire for good will and peace to both countries.
The meeting also involved an exchange of views on:
1. Iran and its nuclear program
2. North Korea
3. Darfur
4. climate change
5. cooperation in trade, investment, culture, education, research and development and Olympic Games.
Good Sino-British relations = world peace and stability, said the Chinese Foreign Secretary.
And if the two countries don't particularly care for each other?
Then what?
