One Child Policy No More, but….

by admin on November 7th, 2007

Beijing adult single children are permitted by national policy to have two kids.

But….more than half aren't planning to.

Just one in four said they would.

The 25% prefer the "DINK" lifestyle - Double Income No Kids.

The four biggest determining factors on whether to have kids or not and how many are:

1. income

2. childcareone.child.china.jpg

3. housing

4. policy conditions

The higher the education background the more likely couples are to have two children, largely because of confidence in economic circumstances and financial security.

In time, China will have too many old folks and not enough youngsters to work and support them…

Yeah, ask Japan about it.

How many children do you want to have?
