How much do Korean Workers Make?

by admin on November 26th, 2007

Employees in Korea worked about 51.7 hours each week last year.

For that, they brought home about W1.9 million ($2,050) each month.

Each worker was about 43 years old and had on average 13 years of education.

The average Korean worker stayed at their workplace for 10.5 years.

Self-employed workers made about $50/month more but worked 8 hours longer each week while keeping their businesses going for about 16 years on average.

Lawyers made the most money - 4 times that of the average.

Airplane pilots made 3.5 times the average.korean.won.jpg

Financial and insurance managers made 3 times the average.

The longest work weeks went to security guards and building maintenance managers at 69 hrs/week.

And expats…pay out the gazoo to live in Korea.
