China Plans to Cut Rail Travel Time to One-Fourth

by admin on November 25th, 2007

China is building two new railway lines starting on the southeast coast in Fujian Province.

One will go from Xiamen to Shenzhen. Travel time will be cut from 11 hours to three hours in 2011.

The other will go from Nanchang to Fuzhou and Putian and will be completed in 2012.

Upon completion of these two rail lines, China's coastal cities and inland areas will become much closer.

Labor is cheaper inland, too….

Hmm…
