New Houston Rocket Coac, Rick Adelman, and Tracy McGrady on Yao Ming

Yao Ming is a professional.

Adjusting to new Houston Rocket coach, Rick Adelman, is not a problem says the giant.

The big concern - does the 7'6" 310 pounder have the energy, speed and endurance to keep pace with an up-tempo offense.

Yao will also do more of setting up teammates and passing.

Yao says the team is stronger, there are more new guys…it's the

team he wants.

In the new system - anybody can shoot and the open-shot timing is different, says China's favorite person.

Teammate Tracy McGrady says of Yao:

1. he looks pretty comfortable

2. he doesn't ask questions

3. he's been studying

4. he gets up and down the court

5. he's in great shape

Adleman says:

1. he wants to use Yao's passing ability

2. he wants Yao down low

3. he doesn't want Yao beat up for 36 minutes

4. Yao is an unbelievable shooter

Three trips to the playoffs…it's time to get past the first round.
