Malaysia becomes Hub for Global Flying Hospitals
Global Flying Hospitals (GFH) is a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian aid for the Third World and when disaster strikes.
Malaysia will become the hub of its operations beginning next year.
Malaysia, of course, is very strategically located between the developed and underdeveloped nations.
GFH hopes to expand to 10 aircraft, including four Boeing 747s that are converted to high-tech surgical hospitals and six C-130 Hercules transport aircrafts.
Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace 2007 (LIMA) will be the target event
for GFH to ask for more aircraft.
LIMA 2007 will be held from Dec. 4-7th.
Do you think an organization like GFH can make a difference?
