Johnson & Johnson is recalling its children's Tylenol. Marvel is recalling Curious George.
I guess I can't give George to my kid to pacify him while I run to the store to find something else for him to take.
What do I do?

- Infants’ Tylenol Drops Plus Cold
- Concentrated Infants’ Tylenol Drops Plus Cold & Cough
- Pediacare Infant Drops Decongestant
- Pediacare Infant Drops Decongestant & Cough
- Pediacare Infant Dropper Decongestant
- Pediacare Infant Dropper Long-Acting Cough
- Pediacare Infant Dropper Decongestant & Cough (PE) products.
because if misused, overdoses could happen “particularly in infants under two years of age.”
Indeed, can't count on kids to read the labels and take their medicine correctly anymore, can we?
Meanwhile - Marvel Enterprises Inc. has halted shipments of it Chinese-made Curious George products because of claims of illegally high amounts of lead.
Sounds like the title of a Curious George book - Curious George Needs to Get the Lead Out.
An Oakland based Center for Environmental Health said a Curious George doll had 10 times the legal maximum of lead at a a Toys "R" Us toy shop.
Uh, Curious George is a little brown and skin colored monkey. Where's the lead?
A California law would require Curious George to wear a warning about cancer-causing chemicals and reproductive toxins on him.
It wouldn't matter to the kids anyway…if they can't read the Tylenol bottle, they couldn't read the tag on Curious George.
They'd just have to depend on their parents.
What a novel idea.
