China is second in Number of Millionaires in Asia.
China has ten times the population of Japan but less than one-fourth the number of millionaires - 345,000 millionaires.
Japan has more millionaires than any other country in Asia.
Japan, in fact has more millionaires than all the other Asian countries combined 1.477 million millionaires…about 1 for every 90 people or so.
Australia is third in Asia with 161, 000.
The number of rich in China grew by 7.8% and Australia's jumped 10.3%.
Japan's rich population grew by 5.1%.
Singapore, however, grew the fastest at a growth rate of the rich of 21.2% to 66,660.
India has a boat load of millionaires, but 150,000 of them live OUTSIDE of the countr…mostly in Hong Kong, then Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Japan.
