Bumbo Baby Seat Recall - Made in China
About a million Bumbo Baby Seats are being recalled.
Made in China? Perhaps.
Designed in China? Nope.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says that is has received 28 reports of children falling out of the seats and three have reported skull fractures.
How many children hit their noggins and nobody reported it because they didn't know where to call?
Turns out, that is the baby is placed in Bumbo, they do the Dumbo, especially when placed on a table, countertop, chair or other high surface.
When the little tike arches his/her back, they can flip out…literally, causing moms, dads, sitters everywhere to flip out as well.![]()
Bonk! Waaa!
People who put their little ones in a Bumbo and set them up high where they can roll over…should be put in Bumbos and made to walk the super market aisles.
How do these designs get to market anyway?
Consumers can contact Bumbo to obtain new warning label stickers and instructions, free of charge.

It seems like there is a new product recall everyday. I am especially concerned about all the recalls on children’s toys and household products. I set up a personal file that alerts me to all product recalls and it sends me a timely notice when one of my products has been recalled.
