2. Lifting the arms embargo

3. Strengthening economic and trade ties.

4. Expanding cooperation in the fight against climate change

5. Working together to combat terrorism

6. Energy shortages

7. Clearer understanding of China - the country is not

     a. a threat

     b. void of human rights

     c. lacking in democracy

More than 1,000 Chinese and European participants gathered for a four day forum just to get ready for the summit.

If China and the EU can come to terms….China will have yet another means to keep growing its economy.
