Yi Jianlian Signs With Milwaukee Bucks

Yi Jianlian and his team and his lawyers and and…decided to end the two-month old stalemate between the NBA franchise Milwaukee Bucks and himself when he agreed to wear a Bucks' jersey next season.

The Milwaukee Bucks met with Yi, Yi's club boss and China's basketball officials to sign a 3-year deal.

Details have not been released of the contract.

The Bucks expect Yi to be in Milwaukee for training camp on October 1st.

Yi was the sixth pick in the NBA draft.

However, his agent wanted to make more money off of him by placing him on a team in a city with a larger Asian population. 

In any event, Yi will be playing for the Bucks this year, getting the training and preparation he needs to be an even better teammate for Yao Ming come next year's 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

If Yi wants to be a better player…he will do well to get on a team that needs him on the court….NOW.
