Wedding Ceremonies Targeted by Professional Beggars

I liken these people to the guys and gals hanging out in front of Safeways and Trader Joe's.

There's always someone with their hands out.

Except in China…and most likely elsewhere as well…the beggars have gone professional.

Hit 'em up when they are in a good mood, when they have money in their pockets and when they can't say no might be the motto.

Professional beggars are showing up at wedding ceremonies in China.

If money is not forked over, wailing, screaming and embarrassment follow.

The best/only way to shut them up is to give them a handout.

If I don't know the guy or the gal in front of me…they get nothing…period.
