Two Singapore Airline First-Class Seats Go for $121,182 on eBay

by BBelew57 on September 5th, 2007

Singapore Airlines is the world's biggest carrier by stock-market value and is also the first to fly the A380 commercially.

When first-class seats go for $121,182…the only think more imaginably worse is that someone would pay that much.

Someone did….an Australian man bid and won (can you call this winning?) $121, 182 for two first-class tickets on the maiden commercial flight of the Airbus A380 from Singapore to Sydney.

All 471 seats are up for sale on eBay.singapore.airlines.jpg

Economy class tickets are starting at $4.60, Business-class $46 and First-class $460.

The Aussies like to do things big - think Outback. How about the big stupid?

Tickets for the return flight (Yeah, one-way tickets can be unreasonable.) will also be auctioned off.

Just think, the Aussie has to fly to Singapore in order to be able to make the maiden flight back to Sydney.

So, what's he going to get for that $121K?

I know what I'd like.
