7 Chinese Firms Make Forbes “Fabulus 50″

Seven mainland companies in China made the Forbes "Fabulous 50."

1. China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC)

2. China Mobile - see also Psst! Real Money Making Opportunity - China Mobile Prepares for Listing

3. China Minsheng Banking,

4. China Shenhua Energy,

5. Lenovo Group,

6. Minmetals Development

7. Wuhan Iron & Steel

India has the most on the list with 12 companies.

Taiwan was second with 10.

Japan and Australia each had five firms make the list.

The complete list will come out in the September 17 issue of Forbes Asia, which is to be put on sale on September 10.
