Northern China's empty nesters were growing older and more lonely...until now.
A new and free service of "nest-warming housekeepers" has emerged.
The elderly can call for their housekeepers who will come to do some shopping, errand running, cleaning or even some nurse duties...though they are not nurses.
China, Asia for that matter, shows tremendous respect for their elderly. It is something that the West would do well to imitate.
One wonders, who benefits the most from a caregiver offering up time for an elderly person, grandma, grandpa or the caregiver.
My bet, is the caregiver gets the greatest benefit...call it rent-a-grandparent.
