Most of them got plastic sugery you know. BTW, I don’t think Chinese girls on the street is as pretty as the Chinese girls in Chinese entertainment.You guys need to come back to reality! + I think different kind of people have different views”prettiest women”. Not all grils above are the glamorous , but some of them are really beautiful. One more thing is that most beautiful women got plastic surgery in the world , not only in China. Plastic surgery is a normal thing, as long as it still keep ur natural beauty. Ok, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I was surprised at the negative comments on all ten. In my humble opinion I think all except Zhou Xun are beautiful women. Of course beauty can only be truly judged if look at the personality of that person and what she looks like naked.

Compared to the semi obese dogs that abound here in the UK, China has nothing to worry about. The girls are possibly the best looking in the world!!
I’ve been in China a total of three and a half years. In the north and the south. On the whole, the southern girls are very attractive, while the northern girls are far more friendly and more accepting of the western look. All of them however, do not really like the look of normal westerners. The advertising billboards featuring western models sure did the trick ten or fifteen years ago, when China had less of its own modern identity, so they were more influenced by western fashion and culture, but the models had to look perfect.
Ofcourse Chinese people will tell you; you look O.K. if you look fairly nornal, but thats a part of Chinese culture! (They must always be polite, to your face anyway).
T.V. shows and movies have much influence in promoting racial looks, I think! If you go to a country where there are many western shows featuring western actors, western looking people are admired more e.g. Philipines and Papua New Guinea. In China the T.V. and movies mostly show Chinese actors, consequently their looks are admired more.
I think it will take China and it’s people many decades to feel comfortable with other races of people in the world. I feel China has a difficulty opening up and accepting other people (especially in the South (it’s covertly red neck))!
All of these girls shown are especially beautiful. Chinese people on the whole are very envious, if they say negative things about these (their) girls’ looks, its to cover their own feelings of inadequicy.

Okay I feel kind of silly even writing this, but of course there are many beautiful women in China. Been there many times and seen with my own eyes. The girls in the pictures above are all quite attractive, but there are others that some would say are more attractive. This is just a difference in TASTE. Western tastes differ somewhat from Chinese tastes, and northern Chinese tastes differ from southern Chinese tastes and so on. So to say that these girls are the Top 10 in China begs the question “according to whom?”
There are many millions of extremely hot Chinese girls. If only 1% of the female population is “hot,” that would be around 5 million women. There are a lot of them. The pictures are of women who are pretty AND TALENTED enough to rise to the top and get noticed. Needless to say if you are in the market for a wife or girlfriend, China will have a woman you will like. There are really some gorgeous women there, especially in Shanghai.

This is stupid. Just your personal opinion. If you happen to have similar tastes to the average person than you can judge who may be successful using their beauty as a career choice. but if it is true that similarly beautiful people like similarly beautiful people than to like the same girls as the average guys means that you are at best average in terms of your own looks.
Either way thought beauty depends only on personal taste.
Now grace, suavity, glamour, etc dont really depend much on beauty and that is what most people tend to look for in who they find attractive.

I see the junction of several schools of thought here. As for four-wheelin’ boy, please stay where “gimme-gimme now” people can survive; the part of Asia I live in values working for the future over immediate gratification and not only would you soil the reputation of so many genuine Westerners, but you wouldn’t last a week once people caught on to your game. As for the future, what good does a hard body at 22 do if you end up having to work manual labor when your 70 to feed your family? Immediate gratification may be satisfied by anyone after enough drink and tease, so if that’s what you’re seeking find it at your next family reunion, you wouldn’t stand a chance with these women anyhow. Every day I see females hotter looking than they, but do they have the heart and soul to make a go of lasting a lifetime? A photo and amateur critic can’t answer that. Western style platonic relationships aren’t very popular here for good reason; because not committing suits shallow people who have no grasp on what is important in life. Appreciating the beauty of a woman involves more than their outward appearance; what are their talents, are they charismatic, are they cultured by education and dignity, these are just a few of the traits to ask when evaluating beauty. And then ask yourself if you’re anywhere close to their league. In my opinion a guy has no league before he’s turned 25, and then he has to have made something of himself to be considered. What I have discovered on this side of the world is that a man is measured by his word, accomplishments, heritage, behavior, and a little by his appearance, in that order. Isn’t it peculiar that age and size are omitted from those criteria? Not over here, in a place where strong family ties and being responsible is valued, people are viewed for what they can contribute and not for what is fleeting (such as youth and physique). Basically, I recommend that until you have a clue to how the world is larger than your backyard and your local ideologies, go back to numbing your brain with the TV and let us grown ups enjoy life for what it is without having to apologize for you.
P.S. If anyone was offended by my remarks, build a bridge and get over it; it’s normal to be offended when someone points out your inadequacy.

wow….these are some dumb comments. I am western and I have to agree most Chinese see us as “at least” fat (mostly because we are); I am dismayed on seeing American and European bloated pigs walk around Shanghai.
As to beauty…Chinese women are OK as a lot, but that is just my opinion. I have seen Chinese women that are off-scale good-looking, but I do think that I have seen many more beautiful Korean women in Seoul….but, again, it is just my opinion. I have had Chinese girlfriends and they are generally very caught up in what society says about them…so all in all, I stay away from them because they are not very fun in any aspect.

first 2 descriptions are complete bs. gong li is known as one of the most beautiful in chinese society, zhao wei too. if ur real chinese, u should know by now how much bs chinese news puts in their papers. just the other month some co got in trouble for false reports
These are all beautiful girls for sure. Picking faults is just being petty. Have lived in Asia for 10 years and I think there are many beautiful girls all over. As for Chinese girls, the highest concentration for beauties has to be Taiwan without a doubt. Zhongxiao east road any day of the week and any time of the day. In China, many of the young girls have moved south and east to the big cities to make their fortunes. However, it seems to me that a lot of the most lovely seem to originate from Chongqing and Wuhan. But anywhere in the Chinese world is guaranteed to have its fair share. Hongkong is no exception. Singapore also. Mixed Indian/Chinese girls are stunning. Elsewhere in Asia, Vietnam is also full of many beautiful girls, though usually a little more petite. Thailand, Laos and Cambodia have their lookers too. A natural Korean beauty is a sight to behold, but I agree with some of the users above that too much plastic surgery goes on there. Ditto for Japan, though not my preferred type. The most imortant thing – which makes these women beautiful – is that they are generally very friendly and polite. Western women who smile and are friendly tend to be more beautiful too. Funny that.

All I can really say about this, and some of the comments I’ve read…is that beauty is truly something few people seem to know at all. The only real beauties I’ve ever seen in this world were not plastered on a magazine, nor were they the sort that people stopped and bought drinks for. No, the real beauties I’ve met were girls with wide eyes and strong hearts, who had minds that could rip into the bull of the universe. Probably true that many westerners are overweight and look no good because of it. But China just like elsewhere have their fair share of the ugly, beautiful and in between. Westerners probably think a lot of Asians are pretty because they are generally a lot smaller than their overweight women and no lack of exposure to many in their movies and TV series. They find Lucy Liu attractive?? There are certainly many super sexy western women – the difficulty we Chinese woman have is lack of curves in comparison. We might appear pretty but the western girls are usually seen as more desireable because they have a shape.
