by BBelew57 on November 17th, 2006

Chinese-American Michael Chang was in Shanghai sportscasting the Masters Cup. Now, it seems he wants to stay…at least for a couple of year.

Chang met with the director of the Chinese Tennis Federation and discussed the possibility of coaching the Chinesee team for the 2008 Beijing Games.

Chang won 34 ATP tournament singles titles and climbed to the number 2 spot in the tennis world. He has the online support of 88% of one survey.

Xinhua net quotes - Michael explained that "I won’t leave tennis for God gave us talent to let us contribute to society. I love Chinese tennis players and fans, that’s why I want to coach the Chinese team."

The Chinese team is not likely to win the Beijing Games in 2008 but one thing is for sure, Chang will not leave the team the way he finds it.michael chang.jpg

He may, however, be required to leave God at home when he comes.
