Business Week recently published a special competiton edition. There were five cities that were listed as the places to beat. Three of them are in Asia.
The cities are Dubai, New York, Bangalore, Shanghai and Silicon Valley (Not a city)
Bangalore is India's representative to the list and it is not just home to:
1. Call Centers
2. Software outsourcing
It is now one of the world's key innovation hubs.
Entrepreneurs flesh out ideas for improving budget air and medical services.
Intel, Cisco and Motorola all have giant R & D centers for dreaming up new products.
Venture Capitalists, privaty-equity funds and Silicon Valley lawyers are all hanging out there as well.
Bombay is losing its 'coolest' factor to this magnet for young achievers, says Businessweek.
Good competition never hurt anyone, except the loser.
Its good to see that competion is alive and well in India.
What do you think?
