There are seven nations that contribute to the balance or imbalance of military power in the PanAsian reason.
Some have a greater number of troops while others have a greater fleet presence. Still others have superior technology. One country isn't even in the PanAsian region.
Ground Troop Power -
7. US - 44,000 troops (27,000 in South Korea and 17,000 in Japan)
6. Russia - 90,000 troops
5. Japan - 148,000 troops
4. Taiwan - 200,000 troops
3. South Korea - 550,000 troops
2. North Korea - 1,000,000 troops - of course, they are all hungry
1. China - 1,600,000 troops
Fleet Power -
7. North Korea - 103,000 tons - of course, they have no fuel
6. South Korea - 148,000 tons - we used to play war games with them in the Japan Sea. I could write some secrets here but then I would have to be shot.
5. Taiwan - 210,000 tons
4. Japan - 426,000 tons - we used to play war games with them as well. Actually, it was more like an English lesson.
3. US - 610,000 tons
2. Russia - 700,000 tons - they used to come watch us play our war games
1. China - 939,000 tons
Air Power -
7. US - 280 attack aircraft (80 in South Korea, 130 in Japan, 70 ship-based)
6. Japan - 480 attack aircraft
5. Taiwan - 530 attack aircraft
4. North Korea - 580 attack aircraft...when they have a sufficient supply of rubber bands
3. South Korea - 600 attack aircraft
2. Russia - 630 attack aircraft
1. China - 2,390 attack aircraft - more than Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan and the US put together...hmmm...
Is there a balance or an imbalance in the region?
What do you think?
