Toyota is not the only Japanese company that can build factories in North America.
Honda plans to open up a new plant in North America by 2009.
Sales are up for Honda but supply lags and the North American region accounts for about half of the company's global sales.
Answer: Put a factory in North America somewhere.
The location of the plant has not been decided. But,GM and Ford are shooting huge factory size holes in the American langscape by closing up shops.
There are going to be a whole lot of locations hoping for Honda to come to their neighborhood and produce 150,000 vehicles a year.
Where do you think would be a good location?
