China’s Most Handsome Dudes # 5 - Chen Kun
I found a list that purports to know who the 10 most handsome dudes in China are.
What this means to me is that these are the guys we are likely to see next on the big screen in the magazines and such here in the US as America tries to capitalize on everything Chinese AND get the average Chinese to look/read/watch.
Is that what I am doing here? Hmmm….
Here is number 5.
This is Chen Kun.
Kun….we call male friends in Japan that we are very close to (not that kind of close) Kun….pronounced Coon.
If you call an African American that - duck!
He goes by another name…and I don’t want to call it English because I have NEVER heard of it.
It is Aloys.
Does anybody have any idea how to pronounce it?
Aloys is a young 30 years old…Feb.
He is from Chongqing.
Never been there, but would like to go sometime just cuz’ I’d like to go anywhere sometime.
Which is your favorite pic?

None! They are good for to pinch their cheek and say Goochi goochi. More they look like female to me than a man. Mature one are more handsome!

I think Aloys is what drunk French sailors used to shout when they staggered down to the quay and saw the ship had just left?
I saw Chen Kun in one of the most irritating Chinese films ever made: The Knot. He had ample opportunity to use those lantern eyes of his, for he had to stay faithful to the memory of a constantly crying, wistful girl for six years or whatever. He finally caved in (spoiler) and died with new woman whom he didn’t love, in an avalanche in Tibet. She was pregnant and they were all swept away. However! 25 years later his son, also played by Aloys, appears. But if you like huge, brimming eyes, this is the film for you.
