Prius is NOT made in China, of course. But if Hang Zhao has his way, a PRIUS like vehicle will be made in China and soon.

He believes China must grapple with ...ahem..global warming. (What global warming?)
No mind, an environment friendly car is something China sorely needs and would surely be a good business decision for someone in China.
Hang's fuel economy rules are 20% stricter than US rules.
The reason - it is predicted that China will have nealy 100 times as many cars = 300 million cars on the road by 2030.
China will have more cars than the US has people!
That's a lot of CO going into the air. No?
