The pattern is...the Japanese make the best cars in the world, hands down. Tha't what I think?

After having worked with a number of Japanese students, I can say that I've seen a superior work ethic in them as compared to many American-born students, so I can't say that I'm surprised that their products are better built and exhibit superior performance compared to American made. It seems to seem that American companies would be wise to imitate the Japanese if they're to stay competitive in the global marketplace. Lisa
