Japan Makes Enemies, Too

by BBelew57 on March 14th, 2006

Who would have thought that by doing something good you could make so many enemies?

The Toyota Prius and the Honda Civic Hybrids, not only get 50 mpg, they also get to travel solo in the diamond land and may get a possible $3000 tax break.

Besides creating all sorts of envy, what else could there be?

It’s their speed - or lack of it.

The slower these puppies go the better their efficiency - something approaching 60 mpg at 35 mph. So, what happens when they get on the highway?

Well, they try to find an optimum speed to cruise at …who cares who is behind them?

Sounds like the SUV cows to me, but they don’t care who is beside them or in front of them either.

Japan does good work, make that great. But, dang it, they can’t make friends on the highway in Silicon Valley.
