How do you say, 'Good Morning' in Japanese?

Good morning in Japanese is said "ohayo."  It is pronounced Ohio...just like the state. Seriously. Next time you see someone Japanese say "Ohio" to them real slow. Make sure it's early in the morning. And they will bow and say the same thing back to you.

Is it any wonder then that Ohio just celebrated a 25 year anniversary with a foreign automaker from...Japan. Honda of America Mfg just had that silver anniversary not long ago.

There are other companies that have followed suit...Daimler Chrysler and GM. But it is Honda that leads the way. The Lt. Governor of Ohio said that auto makers have invested $3.1 Billion in projects in Ohio over the past three years. Thank you, Honda!

Now how do you say Kentucky? It is Kentucky....but the Japanese will think you are talking about chicken.
