Crick Crick Crick

Quick…what goes Crick Crick Crick?

Answerw: All the cameras at a Japanese press conference.

Maybe this belongs in the www.amanwalksintoanoffice.com blog but I came across an article that reminded me of this, um, joke.

BTW, the Japanese really do have trouble with R’s and L’s. Though they can generally learn to say them differently, it is nearly impossible for them to hear the difference.  When talking with the Japanese, please be sensitive…and kind. Americans generally can’t say otsukaresamadeshita - which is the equivalent of ‘you must be tired from working so hard.’ Americans don’t generally have the opportunity to say that either because they don’t work hard enough…but I digress.

I came across a silly spanish ad in a magazine. It was about a the energizer bunny and it played on stereotypes. In it, there is a many who gets an arm transplant from a Japanese and - he can’t stop taking pictures. The Japanese do like to take pictures, too.

And the sound goes Crick Crick Crick.
