I was talking to a Japanese student of mine today and he turned me on to one of Japan's top ten most popular bloggers. So, I went to visit..virutally.

What surprised me is that she is my neighbor. Well, not right next door but she does live right here in Silicon Valley...which is where I am at. Campbell, CA.
She wrote in her blog today about how opportunities for Japanese to work here in the Valley are picking up.
I would love if more Japanese came to the valley, because they bring with them conscientousness, hard working mentality and quality workmanship.
There will also likely be more good Japanese restaurants around. Now I have to drive 15 miles or more to get a good serving of curry rice...and only on Fridays!
It would seem that life gives us many fascinating and painful challenges to accomplish living with and from.
